A Message from President & CEO Tom Bracken

Thomas A BrackenAs you may already know, our ReNew Jersey Business Summit & Expo is fast approaching on March 14 and 15 at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City – and we need you there! This will be the Chamber’s biggest and most important event of the year, and a big turnout is critical to its success. The Summit will be attended by hundreds of business, nonprofit and government leaders to discuss and explore ways New Jersey can best position itself for a bright economic future.

We have put together an outstanding agenda with a slate of impressive speakers. Gov. Phil Murphy will deliver the keynote, and the state's top four legislative leaders (Senate President Nicholas Scutari, Senate Republican Leader Steven Oroho, Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin and Assembly Republican Leader John DiMaio) will participate in a panel to cap off the event. We want them to witness a strong turnout to demonstrate that the business community is united in demanding government policies that improve the state’s business climate.

Also participating in the “National Business Outlook and Its Impact on New Jersey” session are U.S. Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ 5th District) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Chief Lobbyist Neil Bradley – two power players in D.C. who understand the issues and how they affect New Jersey businesses as well as anyone.

Other panel discussions include:

  • New Jersey’s Advantages and Opportunities in 2023
  • Celebrating New Jersey
  • New Jersey’s Programs: What We’re Doing & What’s in the Works
  • Investing in New Jersey
  • Making New Jersey Stronger
  • Executive Roundtable: Macroeconomics Factors Impacting NJ Business
  • Power of New Jersey’s Diversity
  • Reporters Forum: Covering the Intersection of Business & Government

Click here for a complete agenda, which includes over 45 speakers and 12 interactive sessions exploring issues impacting the New Jersey economy. There will be an expo with over 100 New Jersey businesses touting their products and services, and there will be pure networking receptions where you can relax, enjoy food and drinks, and exchange business cards.

We know our members have a strong desire to improve the state’s business climate, and to network. This event will provide a prime opportunity for both.

In fact, we expect this to be the single biggest business event in the state this year on a scale comparable to our Walk to Washington.

Please register for the Summit & Expo, and encourage others to attend. For more info and to register, click here.

As always, I thank you for being a member of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce and supporting our mission to make New Jersey a great place to live and run a business.

We look forward to seeing you at the Summit.
